Mupo Player

Support

Answers to common questions, and a real person to email when they don't cover it.

How do I add music?

Open the Library tab and tap Import, or share audio files to Mupo Player from the Files app. MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC and AIFF all work. Files you drop into the app's folder in the Files app are picked up automatically.

How does Apple Watch sync work?

Open a playlist, choose "Sync to Apple Watch" from its menu, and the tracks transfer in the background — you don't need to keep either app open, though opening Mupo Player on the watch speeds things up. Watch playback uses Bluetooth headphones (AirPods or similar); that's a watchOS requirement for background audio.

Why won't the watch play out loud?

watchOS only allows music apps to keep playing in the background through Bluetooth headphones, so Mupo Player routes to your headphones rather than the watch speaker. If nothing is connected, the Now Playing screen tells you to connect headphones.

Music stops when I remove a playlist — is my music gone?

No. Removing a playlist from the watch only frees space on the watch. Deleting a playlist on the phone never deletes your audio files from the library, and your originals stay wherever you imported them from.

What do supporter purchases unlock?

Decorative star themes, as a thank-you. Every feature in the app is free. Platinum and Diamond are auto-renewing subscriptions — manage or cancel them anytime in your Apple Account settings. Purchases restore on new devices with the "Restore Purchases" button in Settings.
